Detective Mike Veal from the Porter Police Department presented at last night's PCHA Annual Meeting. The best suggestions from the Porter Police are:

  1. Keep your vehicles locked whether parked on the street or in your driveway;
  2. Keep your home doors locked; and,
  3. Call the police if you hear or see ANY suspicious activity.

Working together and keeping an eye out for our neighbor's property will make our community safer.

Please remember that Porter County has a bad reputation for drug activity and that crimes do occur in the winter months.

You can reach the Porter Police Department at 911 or non-emergency at 926-7611.
